Needless to say, I was giddy as I read it. How do have the most sensitive, thoughtful husband in the entire world? So happily, I replied:

He arranged a babysitter (Thank you Grandma and Papa McArthur), and we were off to dinner and a movie. We went to Olive Garden, which is huge as Davy hates italian food. Then we saw "Taken", which was pretty intense. It was a wonderful night alone with just the two of us. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband FOREVER!

I hear ya, sister!! Those nights out seem to be few and far between but SUCH fun and so needed!! Way to go, Mr. MacArthur! PS Loved the poetry... :)

How funny that we had the exact same idea! We just switched the order and went to Olive Garden first and then Taken. Good times.
Dates are a must! We should go together sometime.
I love to go on date when we both can have the same free time. It seems lately we just keep having family over for a few days at a time. First his Sisterinlaw and her friend for about 4 days from England then spring break and then His Brother also From England comes for a few days then with every thing going on with his Dad I hope this week we can take a day and just go out. I do have to say he did take our Aniverisy off after 28 years it was nice just to have some free time during the day.
