What a difference a week makes!

This week started off beautifully. Here we are taking the annual cousin picture at the temple. The kids did much better this year than last. Last year, both Damon and Porter were crying hysterically in the photo. This year, the only issue was the squinting from the sun.
Caitlyn and Khloe looked so pretty together.

Here are all three girls in their pretty dresses made by Grammy Jill.

He was definitely much happier this year.

Collin, Ryli, and Porter are sure good buddies. Ryli had fun trying to kiss Porter on the cheek the whole time.

Khloe is getting to be such a big girl.

She's even sitting up and loving her noisy toys.

Khloe's rocking her tiger striped shades.

Of course, Porter had to have a turn too.

Here's what we woke up to yesterday morning. Nine inches of powder covering everything. Needless to say, I got my exercise shoveling snow.

It was probably the biggest one day storm from all of winter and it hit in "spring." (The calendar says it's spring, but the weather sure doesn't believe it.)

The first thing I had to do was rescue my tulips and daffodils. They haven't even bloomed yet, and I wasn't about to have them demolished by the snow.

Luckily, the snow melted all day long and is all but gone. It's supposed to be 60 tomorrow and 70 on Monday and Tuesday, so hopefully, we won't see snow until November. We can only hope. That's springtime in Utah for you!

Crazy weather is right! I am glad you measured the snow because I wanted to kick myself for not doing it - now I know how much really came down - pretty amazing for in April to have such a huge snowstorm with green grass and flowers in bloom. Khloe is getting so big - what a cutie she is!
