Today is our 8th Anniversary and I can hardly believe it. As we sat at Chef's Table last night, both Davy and I said how fast these eight years have been. It's crazy to believe that it has been eight years since waking to 18 inches of snow, calling the police to let them know the plow took out the speedbumb on the way to the temple, dressing in the Bride's Room with my mother and sister, kneeling across the altar from Davy surrounded by all of our friends and family, and everything else that day brought with it. It was the best first day of our life together and these last eight years have been no exception. Although we've gone through some pretty difficult times, we've come through them together stronger and better for it. I love Davy now more than I ever thought possible. To think, "I thought I loved you then."

Thanks to the Hamblins for inviting us to the BYU v. Utah game. It was a bit more stressful than I would have liked. Thanks Andrew George for making that touchdown!

I am so grateful for my little Porter. He is the sweetest boy and such a delight. I feel so incredibly blessed that I get to be his mother and Davy his father. We are so lucky.

And we wouldn't be complete without our Khloe. She is the spitfire that we need to keep us hopping. We love her smile and her spirit. She is such a wonderful child who's decided to start taking a few steps on her own. I can't believe she's already fifteen months old. These past eight years have brought us so much joy thanks each other and our Porter and Khloe. I can't wait to see what the next eight bring. (Davy, I'm so glad you came to that assembly.)
