Refreshing the Master Bath

So it's been six and a half years that we've lived in our home. Our master bath isn't the biggest and there's no way to remodel. Since it was in desperate need of repainting, I asked Davy if we could change a few things. He gave the go ahead. So last week, in two days, I repaired the wall: spackling, texturizing and all, painted, replaced the light, hung new accessories, bath rods, etc., and added a few decorative items and a new shower curtain. Davy helped me hang the new mirror and replace the faucet. I'm very proud of how it looks and did it all on a budget. I'm ready to start a new business: Redecorating in a Recession!
It's amazing how it feels like an entirely different space.

I took old towels that I was ready to give to DI, sewed green ribbon, traded towels with the downstairs bathroom, and had a whole new look for absolutely no money. I already had everything I needed. Woo Hoo! The VT message this month is on self-reliance. I definitely earned my merit badge for that with this project.

That turned out so cute! I'm impressed. What is it about this time of year that makes us want to redo everything?!!! I've been in the same redecorating mood.
