It has been a long week. Davy has been working late, and Porter ended up with strep. So when Davy came home from church and said, "Let's go for a drive and picnic up the canyon.", I was overjoyed! Love this man.
I love the mountains, the fresh air, and being there with my family. Here we are at our picnic up Timpanookee.
The kids explored the bugs, the outhouse, the horse trough, and fed the chipmunks.
This was another sugar moment. No one was crying or complaining, just enjoying the air, and being happy. A mother's dream.
After hiking around Cascade Springs and then driving the dirt road into Midway, they were both sacked. Peace and quiet for a nice drive down the canyon. I snoozed too while Davy drove. It truly was the perfect day. Thank you Heavenly Father for such a beautiful world to live in and enjoy!
