Although it's hard to believe that it IS ACTUALLY summer due to the rain, we have had some outside enjoyment. Last summer, I laid in bed thinking of all of the things I'd rather be doing OUTSIDE. Playing at Bridal Veil Falls was definitely one of them. A couple of weeks ago, I strapped on the backpack with Khloe in tow and Porter at my side, and we headed out.

Miss Contentment loved the backpack and being outside. It helped to have some shade.

Ryan, Kesli, and Ryli accompanied us. The water was freezing, but the weather offset the frigidity.

The boys didn't fight once. That is a miraculous occasion, as they usually get after each other pretty quick. We just need to be out doing something besides trying to share the sandbox.

On Memorial Day, we joined the Aiken's at the Sumner cabin. Porter loved it, and just asked me when can we go back. Porter and Ryli were quite the bug explorers.

Luckily, we found some potato bugs.

Aren't these two quite the pair?

Then came the sticks. Thankfully, they didn't hit one another. AMAZING!

On guard, Ryli!

After a hard morning's work of bug searching and stick wielding, the two took a much needed sucker break.

Thanks for the invitation Ryan and Kesli!
