It only took nine months, but we were finally able to get together with the Therklesens. We became dear friends in the NICU last year. Here is Khloe with dear, sweet Preslie. Kurt and Michelle and Davy and I shared many a conversation sitting in the NICU rocking our sweet babes last year. We were definitely friends in heaven.
Aren't these two just adorable? They just sat and played by each other, even engaging in a little discussion of their own:) I have no doubt they were supposed to be born at the same time so that we could all meet. We definitely needed each other to make it through the hardship of NICU life.
Both Khloe and Preslie are the most easy going babies. They were so content to just sit and play. Each one enjoyed trying out the other's toys.
Preslie is the sweetest baby. It was great to finally hold her and not just peek at the isolet next to Khloe. What a great day. I prayed we'd have no rain from noon to two since we were "bbq"ing. Gratefully we enjoyed our lunch until just after two when the skies opened up. Thank you Heavenly Father.
Porter and Kyler became fast friends. Porter came up the stairs singing, "Kyler is my new best friend." It was so cute! Unfortunately, we couldn't get a picture of the four adults, but we had a great time catching up. We sure love the Therklesens and wish them the best always. We hope to get together at their place in Timberlakes next month and not nine months from now!

Wow you are quick girl! Was so good to see you...we just love you guys so much! We were definitely meant to meet you. Soooo good to see Khloe and how much she has grown...what a beautiful little girl. Thank you so very much for having us over and for the weeks of dear friendship and support those 9 months ago! So thankful it has carried us over to 9 months later and hopefully a lifetime through! Love ya and thanks again. can't wait for our next gathering. We'll have to get photos of us!
